Midnight Massacre.
At the end of Christmas night, when the clock strikes twelve, our last hoorah is going out into our street bundled up with weapons. One year we all had lightsabers, another swords, and the last one was a hodgepodge of random pieces, some weapons were those pony sticks little kids pretend to gallop one.
And the concept is simple: FIGHT!!!
Eventually it evolved and we remixed...

Found the cutest Aussie boys and their family in the front row during animation. Chatted with them the whole time. The little guy I was sitting next to was named Patrick and he was telling me he got Wings from his airplane ride. They had never really listened to Elvis before but he listens to bands like Simon & Garfunkel. Just….LOVE. ;D

I honestly don’t care as long as its with my family and the usual Mallari Christmas House suspects. And I am SO not being cheesy about that. Two years of not celebrating it with my family is enough for me.

So here’s what went down last year….
Our weekends at Viva Elvis at the time were Wednesday-Thursday. Christmas fell on Friday last year. Friday is our Monday. We had two shows on Christmas. So Dave and I decided to fly back to my home early early morning of Wednesday the 23rd.
Now…our show had only just softly opened on December 16th. And the staging process leading up to...

I already bought my brothers and sisters their gifts. But I’m not sure if they’ll come in time for our Disneyland trip this weekend. Hopefully. Because that would be perfection.
The parentals have their presents at my sister’s apartment in Cali.
And the usual suspects and I did Secret Santa’s so I only have to worry about my Scorpio ;D

We didn’t have any particularly special dish that only came out at Christmas time in my house. It was pretty much just you’re same old filipino food feast ;D
